FAI congratulates the pilots on this splendid achievement.

Our World Record Model Speedbanshee is a modified version of our standard specification. In addition to a special carrier chassis for the 16S LiPo cells together with a 160 ampere UHV YGE regulator, an aerodynamic landing skid rounds out the special modifications. The biggest eye-catcher however, is the specially developed, aerodynamic fuselage with integrated NACA air inlets ducts.

The new world speed record set by the Speedbanshee of 239.69 km/h is officially recognized by the FAI.
